I downloaded and installed iDeneb 1.4 to try the IDT audio driver included in the distro. This version seems much poorer than 1.3, which installed for me on the 2nd try perfectly. 1.4 yields no working USB ports, still waiting for root device error, or else a kernel panic. Hi everyone!
My name is Tim and it's been over a year since I frequent the site but this is my first post.
Okay so is this,
I have a Dell Inspiron N4050 and El Capitan installed on it, with Unibeast.
The fact is that I could not actually configure the audio on it.
The codec is IDT 92HD87B1/3, with DPCI Manager I have this information:
The fact is appearing, but I have no sound, it appears to have no sound device :
I use Clover with:
<key>Inject</key>
<string>12</string>
